The Platinum Drop Silver Birch Italian Bed by Camel Group is a statement bedroom design featuring an extra-wide upholstered headboard that extends behind the coordinating Maxi bedside cabinets. Upholstered in soft Nabuk faux-suede with original Swarovski crystal detailing, the sweeping headboard incorporates integrated glass bedside shelves and LED mood lighting. Available in 150cm UK King, 160cm EU King and 180cm Superking sizes, with an optional lift-up storage bed configuration.
Platinum Drop Wide Headboard Design
The defining feature of the Platinum Drop is its dramatic extra-wide headboard, designed to extend beyond the bed and behind the coordinating Maxi bedside cabinets.
Rather than treating the bed and bedside cabinets as individual pieces, the Drop design visually connects them to create one complete bedroom arrangement with an impressive sense of width.
Nabuk Faux-Suede Upholstered Headboard
The wide headboard is upholstered in soft Nabuk faux-suede, introducing a warm and tactile contrast against the distinctive Silver Birch finish of the bed frame and bedside cabinets.
Its gently shaped design wraps around the sleeping area, giving the Platinum Drop a softer character than a conventional straight wooden headboard.
Original Swarovski Crystal Detailing
A vertical insert of original Swarovski crystal elements provides an elegant finishing detail through the centre of the upholstered headboard.
The subtle crystal detailing catches the light without overpowering the design, adding another layer of refinement to the Platinum Drop's upholstered finish.
Integrated Glass Shelves & LED Mood Lighting
Integrated glass bedside shelves are incorporated into the extended headboard design, creating a seamless transition between the bed and the Maxi bedside cabinets.
LED mood lighting illuminates these areas from the headboard, providing subtle ambient light on either side of the bed and emphasising the distinctive shape of the Drop design.
Includes Maxi Bedside Cabinets
The Platinum Drop is designed together with the wider Maxi bedside cabinets, which extend the overall reach of the headboard and complete the proportions of the bed.
The bedside cabinets provide practical drawer storage while sitting naturally beneath the integrated glass shelf and lighting sections of the headboard.
Distinctive Silver Birch Finish
The bed frame and Maxi bedside cabinets feature Camel Group's distinctive Silver Birch finish, combining brown-grey wood-grain tones with a polished contemporary surface.
This sophisticated neutral finish complements the Nabuk upholstery particularly well and allows the fabric, glass, lighting and Swarovski detailing to become the focal points of the design.
Available in 3 Bed Sizes
The Platinum Drop is available in three popular mattress sizes:
- 150cm UK King
- 160cm EU King
- 180cm Superking
Optional Lift-Up Storage Bed
The Platinum Drop can also be ordered with an optional lift-up storage system, creating useful concealed storage beneath the mattress.
This provides additional space for bedding, pillows and other bedroom essentials without changing the distinctive appearance of the bed.

The DELUCA Experience:
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Tahera Chatur
I would thoroughly recommend buying furniture from Deluca. The furniture is very good quality and Dan and his team are the most caring customer conscious business I have come across. I was worried about buying online but Dan sent a sample for me to look at and the delivery team measured up to see if the furniture I wanted would fit. They made sure I was completely happy with ordering and there was no sales pitch or pushing. The furniture arrived today and the delivery team assembled and cleared all packaging. The whole experience was amazing. Thank you Dan and Deluca.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Kenny Williams
I was really impressed with the professional service I received from Deluca Interiors when purchasing a premium quality Italian bed. Particular thanks to Dan who I found to be extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time. The customer care from initial enquiry to delivery and installation was outstanding. Not only were they the most competitive on price, but they also used their own team of expert fitters to carryout the installation, which the larger national stores outsource. I have no hesitation in recommending them and they will be my first port of call when looking for high quality furniture.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Diane Middlemore
What a company, so many beautiful pieces of furniture with a service to match, nothing was too much trouble for Dan, couldn,t do enough for us. This is the first time I have used this company and will certainly be going back, so freshing to find a company who help you, not push you into buying furniture, I went for a coffee table and came out with a three piece, table lamp, display cabinet and of course the coffee table, all because I couldn’t resist this beautiful furniture. Thank you Dan you are a star Sir
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Lola Alowonle .S.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Adam Mumford
Excellent comms, excellent service and top quality furniture. Dan and the team couldn't do anymore to keep us as happy customers, just the way it should be, good old fashioned customer service which you can't find at many places nowadays. If you have any issues with these guys, just let them know and they'll quickly resolve it for you. Couldn't ask anymore.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Sameh El-Kawy
Dear Dan
Thank you soo much for the excellent service we had from the start to finish as well as for the excellent quality dinning room set we received from your Italian supplier. As you know, we are back to buy sofa and furniture for our formal lounge.

Sameh
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Joanne Rinaldi
I would highly recommend this company we received excellent service from Dan who kept us informed and updated from the day the order was taken to the day we received delivery of our bed. The quality of the bed frame is outstanding and the guys who delivered and installed it were great. All round a high quality five star service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Brian Hogg
An excellent company and top value for money. Would give 6 stars if possible. Can’t say enough of how good Dan and his team were. We paid for the assembly and so glad we did as the under storage bed would have been a nightmare. All cardboard and rubbish removed from site. Would Recommend Deluca in a heartbeat. Well done team.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Medar Moroglu
Dan and Jacqueline are really friendly, helpful and honest people. We aren’t even buying from their store, but felt compelled to write a review because of the amazing customer service they offered us. They took a real interest in our search for a dining table and even helped us procure the table we were searching, even if it meant it was with a competitor. If you’re keen on Furniture Village dining tables, then don’t get ripped off with them, you can buy the same table at Deluca Interiors for a much better price and more importantly, far superior service.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Claire
Was a bit of a Gamble buying on line and only going from photos. Ì messaged a few times with questions and was even sent a video to help me make my choice. We wasn't disappointed. Absolutely in love with My furniture. It's a really statement piece in the home. Everyone that walks through the door comments on it.. the delivery arrived without any problems and the chaps were lovely.
Only thing I would point out is maybe a better description of the product. For example amount of shelves and door openings and maybe some photos of the inside of the cupboard.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Bodunrin Hundeyin
Deluca interior is the best ever. Your customer service is extremely excellent. Words cannot explain it. It is unexplainable.
The quality of your sofas is superb and extremely comfortable. I am completely short of words. Above all, please keep up the good work. Your team are loverly, friendly, understanding, supportive and always ready to assist in difficult time.
Wish you and the company (Deluca Interiors) all the best in your future endeavours. I can't wait to place another order.
Warm regards to all.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐David Jarno
Deluca delivers a first class service. I have ordered a bed and bedside tables and was always made aware of the progress of the order as furnitures come from Italy. It has been delivered on time by Deluca team itself. They brought all the furnitures delicately upstairs and help me to unpack them. The bedside tables were already fully build and the bed required 10min assembly. The quality is fantastic. Can't recommend enough this excellent company.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Martin Corcoran
When we read previous reviews of DeLuca furniture we were a little sceptical as there appeared to be no negative comments. However, we can only endorse and add to previous comments. The dining room table, chairs and sideboard look stunning and we are absolutely delighted with the look and quality. Luca kept us informed throughout the selling, ordering and delivery process fulfilling everything he assured us would happen. From past experience with other companies this is a rare thing. We would not hesitate to recommend DeLuca interiors to anyone. Thank you again for excellent service and quality Luca.
